Ms Charlene is an LPC-A, LCDC, Certified in Mindfulness Therapy, Life Coach, Laughter Yoga Certified and Clinical Certified Trauma Therapist. She has over 20 years combined experience in k-12 education, individual, child, family and group therapy. She is excited to bring her skills and expertise to the homeschooling community.
🌟 Explore Your Feelings + Laughter Yoga 🌟
Join us for a meaningful and uplifting experience that blends creativity, reflection, and joyful movement!
✨ First, we’ll create a Feelings Box — a personal space to explore and hold onto those “big feelings.” Through guided prompts, participants will reflect on questions like:
What are some big feelings you have?
What helps you feel in control when you’re upset?
What positive feelings have you experienced, and what influenced them?
Who can you safely share your feelings with?
This craft is a wonderful way to build self-awareness and open the door to healthy emotional expression.
✨ Afterward, we’ll shift gears into Laughter Yoga — a playful, energizing practice that combines gentle movement, breathing exercises, and laughter to boost mood, reduce stress, and create connection.
💛 Come ready to reflect, create, and laugh together!
Participating ages: 5+
Cost: $10/participant, $5/additional family member
Children under 5 can participate along with a participating adult.
Please bring your waters. All other supplies provided
If you have a child outside of these ages and you feel like this would be a great event for them, you are welcome to sign them up. Families welcome to participate together.
